Zum Stromer in Rostock

We are in Warnemünde twice a year. And twice a year we visit the small, cozy restaurant "Zum Stromer". Super cozy, very nice and great team. The food, of course, great. Our little Amy is also allowed in and immediately gets the treat and the water. We feel very comfortable there and will be back in the next and the next and ...... ? year. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great food worth a visit even during Corona times! By far, but still really cozy.

We were there this week and it was super super super nice. The girls are very attentive and extremely friendly, the Oberhammer food, the great atmosphere and the philosophy wonderful. Price-performance ratio absolutely correct. Make sure to reserve several days in advance. We thank you for the great evening with you. Here you can see that there is love and commitment behind it.

Small but nice. With a special tip we went to this really cool location and were very surprised. A special design of the restaurant makes it so unique. The two service staff are extremely friendly, easy-going, helpful and quick. As a guest you feel really comfortable and fully cared for. The dishes are very nicely presented and very tasty. Calling up the menu via the QR code, really cool. Conclusion: always worth a visit for fish lovers, highly recommended.

The service is first class. The food is one of the best in Wmünde. I can only recommend. But you should reserve a table beforehand.

Nice, authentic restaurant where you can eat very well

This was our first time in the restaurant "Zum Stromer" and certainly not the last time! Now we know why you have to reserve a table 1-2 weeks in advance. The ambience, the service and the food are perfect! It's a bit more expensive, but the prices are justified. We felt very comfortable. Seldom experienced such attentive, unobtrusive, very friendly service.

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere - reservations are recommended. We chose the cod No.1 and the salmon. An excellent decision. The salmon was soft as butter, the skin perfectly crispy, the spinach leaves perfectly matched with the beetroot and potato mash. The cod has melted in the mouth and is definitely absolute top. The service also 1a. An absolute recommendation! We will be back.

Very wonderful service and great fish. They also looked after our dog Heidi wonderfully and we felt very well looked after all evening.

For my wife and I the best restaurant in Warnemünde. Even when making a reservation on the phone, the ladies are very friendly and courteous and try to make the customer's wishes possible. The first impression is confirmed on site. Nice small and cozy restaurant with very friendly service. The food tastes very good and the wine tastes wonderful. It is noticeable that the waitress is very attentive - the wine was regularly refilled and the extra ice cream that we ordered was wordlessly replaced again and again when it was used up .... Small upscale restaurant with a small menu with mostly fish. Cozy, very friendly and courteous service. But not exactly cheap.

Still highly recommended! Great ambience, fine food, good wines. A restaurant as I want it to be, service is stylish and knows how to entertain guests. Please keep it up, big praise!

A great way to end a great vacation. The food is special, not cheap but worth every penny. The friendly service and the good draft beer round off the visit.

Been there for the first time last night. Great restaurant, food was really delicious. The portions of the men could have been larger for their taste, but that's more because of their stomach volume ?. Servings are sufficient for a dinner. And the prices reasonable If we are close again we will come back.

Excellent

The experience here was first class from the service to the atmosphere to the food. It was only a short walk from the cruise terminal and well worth the effort. But be forewarned, although they did have an English menu available, on the night we were there, English was not well understood. However we were able to get by with my high school level German. Our waitress was very understanding of my feeble attempt at speaking her language and she could not have been nicer. Overall a great experience.

Good fish, fast serving

The first time in Stromer and were really excited. Pleasant ambience and very friendly service. No longer as good fish eaten, tasty and finely prepared. We recommend. We like to come back.

Excellent seafood! Had a lovely dinner here with friends. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals and drinks. Good service. It's not cheap, but it's right in a touristy part of town, so that's too be expected. The food did live up to the higher-end price tag. Recommended!

Very nice, quaint and small restaurant. Although there is only a small selection of food, but that is quite sufficient. The staff was very friendly and authentic. The prices are perfectly okay, although it may seem too expensive for one or the other, the quality of the food was reasonably priced. If you want to treat yourself to something special, you should definitely go here.

Really nice and cozy place. A real fireplace keeps the guests warm in the colder months. Absolutely excellent food made from first class ingredients. Everything cooked to the point. The white chocolate cake was the top of a superb three-course dinner. Also excellent wine selection and very friendly staff. Wonderful place all in all, with very reasonable prices for the quality of food, service and place.

I find the place itself cosy and welcoming (loved the fireplace). Some small details like wires, cracking paint and the absence of a candle on one of the sides of the entrance could be taken care of. The starters were heavenly and the complimentary tomato soup was delicious. My husband's fish dish was superb. Mine was tasteless, accompanied by way too salty sides. Desserts were alright. We will probably come back and I will pick another main course.

Nice interior. Other people's food looked nice, but they were out of all major fishes except one. That's fine, but they should tell you when you get the menu. As in, before you get drinks etc.

Not cheap but excellent

Delicious food and wine for a reasonable price. Excellent setting and good atmosphere for a nice dinner. We didn't dress nicely and weren't challenged. We made reservations and I'm glad we did, because the place filled up very quickly after it opened at 5pm. There were a few other places open at 4pm, just up the street, if you feel like getting a drink before dinner.

Good quality food. It is a bit expensive but the food is made by best ingredients. It is in located in a quiet place.
